The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the first to feature 48 teams and 104 matches, co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. Because matches are played from the US East Coast to the Pacific and down into Mexico, a single matchday can span four local time zones. A 12:00 noon kickoff in Los Angeles is 3:00 PM in New York and the early hours of the next morning in Asia.
